Nusse is old!

Nusse II is getting old, poor little guy! I've "killed" him accidentally a couple of times now where I thought he had passed but then he showed up alive after all. :-P Here's a little video from tonight. He's getting grey and slow, but seems otherwise healthy. Fingers crossed he stays around for a while yet!

Nusse is a dream of a hamster, a complete joy. At weigh-in yesterday he clocked in at 49 grammes. He's so calm and unafraid. Easy to handle and doesn't run around at top speed at all times. Shows up when he hears people are home. Crazy about meal worms and sunflower seeds. Not too into vegetables.

Welcome aboard, Nusse II!

This morning I picked up Hamsterhiets Terie Falksønn. He was promptly renamed Nusse II. "II" because he is named for trilltrall's childhood hamster Nusse.

He seems very confident and immediately set about exploring his new cage. Good to have you, Nusse, enjoy your stay!

New hamster soon

Today I agreed with the breeder Hamsterhiet that I will pick up my new hamster tomorrow! My new hamster will be Hamsterhiets Terie Falksønn, born 31 May 2018. Also a Campbell's dwarf, same color as Baltasara (Argente), but a male this time.

RIP Baltasara

Today it's over for the world's coolest and most bad-ass dwarf hamster, Baltasara (Hamsterhiets Gaia Dragasdatter, born 24.04.2017). She has seemed old for a couple of weeks and now it's ended. Thank you, Baltasara, for being so awesome!
