Tomorrow I'm going away on holiday and Baltasara will be home along with trilltrall for 9 days! He will definitely feed and water her, but I very much doubt he will let her out in the playpen. So she got some extra time out today and I had to film her again, of course.
Small wonder Baltasara would bite - we use apple scented hand soap in this house. I have now bought unscented hand soap and have used it for a few days. So far it works! :-)
A few photos of the little monster from last night:
Baltasara bites. It's annoying, but she has only lived here for a week and I hope to stop her from biting by following google's advice to blow lightly in her face whenever she does it... It hasn't stopped her yet, but some day she should realize that I only bring food, I am not food.
Today I filmed her in slowmo just because I can. :-D
Baltasara moved into a brand new cage with no less than two different houses for her very own personal use, but she chooses the digging tower. Of course.
Today Hamsterhiets Gaia moved in and I changed her name to Baltasara! Our new hamster was supposed to be called Baltasar II, named after trilltrall's childhood hamster, but she's a she. So Baltasara it is. :-)
She was born April 24. She's a purebred Black-Eyed Argente ("Sandy") Campbell's dwarf hamster.
